Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Not what I expected Comment: This book was very expensive and did not contain the information I wanted to help with gathering family history. Too many general statistics. Customer Rating: Summary: not worth the money Comment: Way over 50% of this book is "canned" generic information having nothing to do with the Walsh family. Most of this was about the immigration process and statistics and is presumably used in ALL of these family name books in the same format. That wouldn't be too bad as pretty much anybody interested in geneology would appreciate the information, but a fair bit of it is either wrong or explained poorly. It's a good thing this book was a present and the recipient will not know how much I paid for it because if I had bought it for myself I would have sent it back. It isn't a 100% ripoff but is WAY overpriced for what you get. More Reviews
