Comment: While the publisher says this book is for 9-12 year olds, my 5- and 6-year olds love it! The stories are short - most can be read in a few minutes. They are written in a very exciting, but simple style that grips the attention. It's a hard book to put down. Stories discuss such great Americans as Washington, Franklin, Fulton, Kit Carson, Audubon, Goodyear, and more. I can't recommend this book enough for young readers.
