Summary: German Immigrants in American Church Records Series
Comment: The German Immigrants in American Church Records Volume 1: Indiana Protestant is very useful for family history researchers looking for a German immigrant who may have married, had children, or died in Indiana. The 31,163 entry every name index makes the book easy to use!

This book is just the first of the German Immigrants in the American Church Records series. Other volumes include Wisconsin and he has plans to publish volumes for Nebraska, and Iowa (see the project website at www.germanimmigrants.org).

I have found many of Roger Minert's family history research aides and resources to be very valuable in my German family history research. Roger Minert's team of students did a great job with this book and I hope they continue on through many more states!
