Summary:
Poorly written, researched, and presented
Comment:
I will not belabor the point here. Without discussing the merits of Afrocentrism, this book is not
an asset to that ideology. The book is not written well, being dry, dense and poorly laid out,
rarely concise, and not especially compelling. The book contains virtually no footnotes, no
citations, or any kind of proof that an academic historical work should possess. Most of the
assertions are "because we know" without any real back up.
The book is poorly
organized and occasionally simplistic.
Again, without discussing the merits of the
ideology, this book is not very good. The subject matter seems wrong, ill-conceived and even made up
because of the author's inability to conform to even the most basic standards of proof. If you wish
for a convincing discussion of Afrocentrist though, you are better off elsewhere. This one can only
hurt.

Ancient African Tragedy
Comment:
This book goes into depth to explain what happened to Africa. It talks about the psychological
brainwashing of Africans, how they were conquered, what started the slave trade, how the great
African civilizations fell. The book goes into great detail to the tragic invasions on African
people.
The author also speaks about the black egyptians great civilization and how
scientists and historians try to deny that ancient Egypt was black/African in origin. The author
also talks about Songhay, Ghana, Mali, Kuba ect.
Excellent read for those interested in
how a great continent of great people went to royalty to slaves and even sometimes losing the
ability to even read and write and what must be done to unite black people. Good read for blacks and
non blacks. The truth hurts and shall set your mind free.

I like all the information in this book. I read it for a class project some years ago. Just ordered
it for a friend. I think he will like it as much as I did.

A rambling mess.....

Destruction of Black Civilization : Great Issues of a Race from 4500 B.C to 2000 A.D.
A
rambling mess. 16 years of research and clearly he went mad during the process. If this is, as the
author states, a summary of what was supposed to be 2 volumes, would somebody who understands his
ramble please step up and fill in the volumes? Because this "summary" is not organized, not well
written -- it's all over the place. The worst writing in a book I've ever experienced in my life.
The worst attempt at presenting ANY SUBJECT via a book that I have ever experienced in my life.
Tantamount to reading the written rantings of an extremely isolated, schizophrenic mad scientist.
As a human being, my heart goes out to him because, clearly, he had gone mad.

African history
Comment:
I was dissapointed with the book, although I admire the author's resolve to provide an alternate
view to the history and culture of the "black" people. From the first pages, I began to see the
general intent of book. The term "black" is defined, but never placed in context with the term
"negro" (e.g., French "negre"; Russian "negr") - a common term, yet for some reason it has been
politicized and downgraded to mean something less than human. Then the author mentions about
'blacks' mongrelizing (mixing)- who are in some cases considered to be "white" or "arab" - all this
becomes confusing. Without a doubt this issue, just like the term
"Jewish""Isreal""Hebrew""Khazar""Talmudist" has become a no-man's land and where confusion reigns
supreme. Second, the author attempts to rediscover "black" historical roots - a time when "black"
civilization was superior to all other ("white","arab") and when Egypt had been "black."
Unfortunately, this view is based on dubious historical documentation, while archeological finds
clearly show the contrary. In many cases the author takes a common belief and simply claims the
opposite without justification or proof.
The book needs serious editing and convincing
evidence to lend it credibility. Without a doubt, the author attempts to provide an alternate
response to Black History and Culture - a worthy and much needed objective.
