Summary: OK if you need to know 22 ways to spell "Brittany"
Comment: I found this book disappointing. The only way Lansky can claim 15,000 names is because he counts
various, often silly, spellings as separate names. Is it really necessary to have "Nattalie" or
"Pamula"?

Comment: This book is well organized, devided into boy and girl names, alphabetical and easy to read. The
descriptions include alternate/similar names and basic meanings.

I have to say, my husband I
could not (ABSOLUTELY COULD NOT) agree on a name for our children. It took us 9 months of working at
it to find a name we agreed on. Thank goodness for this book. There were names in here I had not
even thought of, nor would I have ever heard of them. Thank Goodness for this book.

Comment: When I ordered this book I was not expecting much (becuse of it's value) only to find out that it
had a lot of names, very well arrenged, with a breif description...This is sure a great book, not
only for myself, it will make a wonderful gift for anyone who is expecting... I bought several
books at the same time, and this book and its content sure surprise me ! I recomendes to all the
expecting couples, CONGRATULATIONS to the author

Comment: Simple. No lengthy meanings and lengthy origins. Bruce Lansky hits the birds eye. Lengthiest meaning
is below 10 words. Boys and girls names are separately listed. Cover page design tempts you to go
into the book. Each name has Origin, Meaning, Cross reference, famous namesake, Variations and
Nicknames. A must for parents who want to name their baby.

Summary: This book was extroadinarily awesome!
Comment: I have never read any of Bruce Lansky's books, but now I am sure that he is a great author. If I
can find any more of his books I will surely read them. I had to find out what my name meant, and I
found my name with a definition, origin, and root word. I also found what every person in my family
meant. I was so surpriseed! I just couldn't believe my eyes! I would recommend this book to anyone
I know.
