Comment: The Flag We Love is a very patriotic story that encourages children to respect the U.S.A. It also
teaches kids history about our country which is good for school.I rate it five stars because of its
real life drawings and pictures.

Comment: I enjoyed the book The Flag We Love. I found out by her, and Ralph Maseillo the true meaning of the
book. It's about the history of the Flag. It's a very sad book, but also very interesting, fun
facts, and just great to feel how many lives were lost so we could have our freedom! My favorite
part in the Flag We Love is when I saw the wall of all the soldiers that died in the Viet Nam War. I
just don't think elementary students would like this book, but also a higher grade! It's an
educational book, but it is also a very wonderful book! I think if you have not read The Flag We
Love then you should try it!!

Comment: I think the book THE FLAG WE LOVE is a good book. Pam Munoz Ryan has interesting facts about our
flag. I like the part about winning the war,and about president A. Lincoln, and the part about
Explorers, and dropping the flag where their journey ended,and about the heroes,the fireworks,and
the last page. I like the book The Flag We Love.

Comment: The book I read was The Flag We Love. All of the pictures in this book are about history. In one
of the pictures it showed that after the war our flag was still standing. Astronauts planted U.S.
flags on the moon. Pam Munoz Ryan is a good writer.

Comment: Pam Munoz Ryan is an inspirational writer. The Flag We Love is a wonderful book. I like how she
puts facts at the bottom of each page. I also like the illustrations because they're so detailed.
I definitely give The Flag We Love five stars.
