Summary: My book fell apart too!
Comment: I thought it was just me, but after reading a few of these reviews I'm glad to know it isn't. I
only had this book for a week before it started to fall apart. My husband was looking through it
last night and had to do it in sections. Not a good buy as far as the quality goes, but I found a
lot of nice names in it. I do wish they included the meaning of the names. But overall I was glad
I didn't have to scroll through a bunch of ridiculous names.

Summary: Great For Use With A STUBBORN Husband!
Comment: I like cute & trendy names but my husband insists on boy names (like Scott, Mike and Mark) that are
so traditional and boring, the child could never be made fun of. When he found the name Aiden in
this book, under the section of names that have no nic-name, he loved it. I was thrilled because it
is a trendy new name so Aiden it will be.

I also liked how the book told you how
popular the name has been (apparently every boy being born is named Aiden these days) and my husband
found all the math behind it very interesting. I must admit there were several names in the book
that we had never heard before but really liked. Since we didn't want to use any family names
(because we feel we are way too creative to simply be that boring), it was great for getting ideas.

I would love to rate this book as five stars, because it did save us a lot of arguing
over names, but there are two things I think it is lacking. First, the sibling names it gives that
you may also like are almost always terrible. There is generally one name that I find to be decent
and the rest are nothing better than random guesses in my opinion. Second, as another reviewer
mentioned, the meaning of the name is not given in the book. You'll have to Google the names to find
the meaning. (Origins are given.)

Summary: Constant Repetition
Comment: I bought this book based on other user's reviews and I wish I had saved my money. We used the book
looking for baby names but constantly ran into the same names over and over again. The repetition
was annoying. The name Riley is listed 32 times and the name Beatrice is listed 26 times. Only the
truly bizarre names are listed once. The book claims to have thousands of enchanting names but
that's a stretch. Another disappointing fact about this book is it does not give you the meanings
of the names so you have to refer to other books or the Internet for that information. I would not
recommend this book.

Summary: A fun read...
Comment: I really enjoyed reading this book. Before I knew whether I was going to have a boy or a girl I
found it amazing to read the brother/sister names that are suggested under each of the names. I
found that so many of the corresponding opposite sex names were also ones that I love. I also
enjoyed that the author includes the frequency of use of the names. I do not want my child to have
to be referred to as as his first name and last name initial like so many of the Jennifers that I
went to school with (which will be the Madisons, etc. of my son's generation). A great book for
yourself to read as you select a name for your child or as a fun gift for expectant parents. I
highly recommend it!

Summary: I liked but it had a few problems
Comment: I rated this a 4 because I thought this was a pretty good book overall. I liked the brother/sister
parts. It helped to narrow down my style. BUT like a previous reviewer pointed out, the book
completely fell apart. Pages just kept falling out. It was very frustrating. And I did not abuse the
book, it was just from normal reading. Also, I wish she would have included meanings/origins. />
I would have given it a 5+ if the book was made better and included meanings.
