I am not Catholic, but a lot of my in-laws are, and having sat through a lot of masses I was very curious to understand more. This book did the trick. Things are explained in a very clear way, and the authors never belittle other religions. The authors periodically went over the same material repeatedly, ie. sometimes the same facts were given in various chapters. I liked that, as it make it all sink in more. I'd recommend this book to anyone looking for a place to start to learn more.

I'm Catholic, but there have always been some things that escaped me, and this book was helpful in explaining many of those things, and more. I'd still recommend picking up one of those books that specifically cover Mass in detail if some of the customs and actions have befuddled you. It is very easy to understand especially for our elderly parishoners and teens.
